The PHR Student Program will hold four Regional Advocacy Institutes this fall. These institutes will bring together student chapter members and other health professional students, from throughout your region, who are interested in health and human rights. Together you will learn about pressing human rights matters and develop your skills as advocates.

With the help of guest experts and experienced PHR national staff, the regional institutes will demonstrate the influence of health professional advocates and help you to gain new connections & ideas for creating change. In addition to education about important health and human rights topics, the institutes will also hold skill-building workshop sessions.
Dates and locations for each region’s Institute:
- South: September 26 at Meharry Medical School (Nashville)
- Midwest: September 26 at Rush Medical School (Chicago)
- Northeast: November 7 at Harvard Medical School (Boston)
- Mid-Atlantic: November 7 at George Washington University School of Medicine (DC)
